But at least the WA operation pays some tax on its profits. Faktum High Cabinet Frame Part number 201. Pretty rough for something so small. Is this pricing discrepancy a feature of Ikea Australia? WA being dearer coz of distance. Adelaide was showing me a pic she took at ikea of a mirror she wants. Then I looked up store and it was Adelaide store.

Or is Perth being gouged by the franchise holder? It happens in the price of many other items here, but the WA IKEA guy seems far greedier than most. Thought it must be on sale. But the Ikea franchise in WA can charge double price on some items and half on others. Same name on the outside, completely different ownership with no requirement to use the pricing structure that the other stores use. If you think that is bad, look at overseas prices. Next day I had to go through all the items in my order to identify the missing items. Also, had the oak benches been coated with an oil film prior to delivery to my home, if so, how much sanding to I need to do to ensure the new oil is penetrated in? Firstly Ikea delivery guy was supposed to arrive between 3 and 7 pm. It was NEVER going to be here at 8pm. Missing from the instructions was the critical instruction to cut the railing exactly to fit the width of all cabinets, but not to include any cover panels which attach to the ends of a row of cupboards. Now I have two nicely cut pieces I am wondering why IKEA do not provide any bench top joiners and can find nothing about how to join the two countertop pieces together. The masonite is also not very stable for cutting holes for plumbing fixtures under sinks or troughs. So much that it remained even after brushing my teeth.

Eventually me, my wife and the delivery guy moved all the items only to realise that 13 items were missing. The kitchens are cheap but they are definitely a good example of you get what you pay for. My conclusion is that IKEA is the most expensive furniture store in Australia if you value your time. PAX wardrobe with a queen bed and a storage shelf from Ikea Logan store and I am still waiting for the installation to happen. When I discovered this I decided to tile the entire laundry before installing the IKEA cupboards. Last time I shop at Ikea.

Fortunately for me I have had extensive renovations done, so my wardrobes were put together by two builders. The flat packs were very heavy. Of the 30 or so holes in the rail, I could only line up the centre of 3 studs. If you want families to shop at your store this needs to be addressed along with your staff members poor attitude to customers. Kaboodle use the bench top joiners in their flatpack system, so I suspect that I will be making yet another trip to the hardware store to find a solution to this hopeless IKEA mess. Oh they did suggest putting 2 doors on to make up the size.

In particular their kitchen cupboards especially the doors are painted with about the thinnest coating of paint known to man. There were 85 Items in total and some of the items were 45 kg each. Somehow the consultant managed to put an overhead cabinet on the plan in the arc of our hallway door, so we had to ditch the 4th overhead cabinet. It took them several hours to do. Ikea customer service and notified missing item list. Ikea store in Tempe, Sydney with a cranky baby in a sling. They looked solid in the showroom, but who reaches to check when you are at the IKEA store? Two days later, replacement panels were delivered, also damaged. Would give 0 stars if it was possible. My strong advice do not use SENTUP based at chipping norton.

The customer service manager that we spoke to refused to accept our suggestion. Ikea customer service and notified about the missing items and asked for compensation for the damaged walls. As we were entering a young mum with a pram and a handful of your products was leaving the store. The delivery guy struggled to carry it over the stairs and lost his balance and scratched and made dents in my brand new house. This store is truly appalling the way it deliberately makes it difficult to go in and out of the store quickly. Ikea to reimburse us for our cost. Trysil bed online on 7 Oct 2017 to be delivered on 8 Oct.

Consumer Tribunal to get any satisfaction getting the doors fixed. Ikea twice and every time I call they say that my case has been escalated but I no one rings me back about the organise the assembly. Finally after 6 days I received all the items I ordered. IKEA itself is a great shopping experience! Ikea web site as the kitchen specialist. The very nice staff arranges for a replacement part to be delivered. When I tried to email the photos, the emails keeps bouncing. Its 9pm and we are still waiting.

Despite seeing me they ignore me and start to drive off, I bang on the side of the van and they still drive off. The store was quiet and the uninterested shop assistance at the service desk said it was normal to sell 33 shelves in half an hour. Two days ago I purchased the Ikea Patar Coffee for my French Press coffee machine. Another day consumed by the little details. After the next month today I checked the stock online and when it said 33 were available I raced to Ikea and there was not product. Said part is delivered, I sign for it, and then just as the delivery guy walks away I unwrap the replacement part and notice damage to the part.

So I still have an incomplete Wardrobe after a lot of time and effort wasted. Customer care guy gave me an email address to send photos of the damaged wall with a case number as reference. Oh what a great idea everyone likes to open two doors to get out the brooms! Also, when it does FINALLY arrive late at night, its bound to wake up the baby. Although perfect in acidity I found it had a way over the top bitterness. One item was again missing. Another issue I had was that some fixing screws, adhesives and the bench top joiners are NOT provided, so you might be right in the middle of building cupboards, only to have to down tools, get in the car and go buy the screws you need to go on with the job. The incompetence goes all down the line right to the inbox! Not just one but nearly all of them.

Made a purchase of a lounge. We have been using Ikea Kitchen, wardrobe and other products which we love. The second option is to exit from your concealed gate which this particular mother choose to do. My kitchen is a joke and now we have to reconsider our options. At 45kg per cabinet claimed load limit from IKEA staff, I did not want to skimp on the wall fixings. If Ikea does not respect your time as a customer and fluffs you about like this. If you plan on throwing junk into the cupboards then take care not to crack the back panel.

IKEA use Australian National Couriers so obviously we are unhappy with the service. Our only option was to keep waiting for Ikea to deliver the goods and pray that they are not damaged, and if they are, well just keep waiting because no one from Ikea has authority to approve customer reimbursement. Funny how I received the confirmation email from them proving they did. One good note was that the cabinets are well machined so come together quite neat and square. Due to poor measurement at initial quote. Sentup the installers based at chipping norton I am surprised are still in business. More annoying is when the bench top screws in the manifest did not come in the box. Then waited the month and checked online to see the product was out of stock again or still? Wondering if the cost saving was worth it. Each time we had to waste our time waiting at home for the delivery.

Really resent being lied to. Corporate consumerism at its very worst. IKEA save you money because you provide the labour, but in my experience the days and days of preparing walls, plastering, and fixing up the mistakes made by the lack of proper instructions is not worth it. IKEA advertises a 25 years warranty on their kitchens. DEEPAK was terrible at the customer service. As she was doing this a staff member aggressively yelled at her from a large distance to close the gate as she was struggling with her pram and her purchases. Musken wardrobe would be a much better size option to store products, buckets, baskets, mops, brooms, steam cleaners and all that other cleaning paraphernalia. We bought a new Ikea kitchen and had them delivered.

There is no way for one person to carry a 45 kilo package to the first floor. He was terribley slow. Two days later Ikea delivered my items. Two large panels were delivered damaged. Due to bad design prams do not fit through your bollards leaving you with 2 options. The laminate is strangely thin in my experience and does not stand up to much in the way of a circular saw. Adelaide Hills being closer than a lot of other suburbs.

There are several problems. Both refused and gave me a general wave with further vague instructions. Now I am waiting for Ikea to organise an assembler to assemble and install the wardrobe. No compensation for the time and effort we spent on this. But the delivery guy arrived half an hour late and alone. Will they replace all kitchen draw and door panels considering that Faktum is obsolete in Australia?

IKEA provided plan, only to find that the cover panels would not fit, so I had to use an angle grinder to chop off 13 mm from each end after the rail had been installed. Faktum kitchen, purchased in 2014, that need replacing due to cracking and peeling. You can order online in the US. OK, fuel you were spending anyway. The process went fairly smoothly though it was a big wait to pay for the goods at the checkout and then another line to arrange the delivery. Everything arrived as expected and the service is certainly worth it if you have a bit of furniture to order and are willing to do the trip to Sydney. The fees are fixed so if you want one desk or a whole house of furniture the cost is the same.

Bit late but just had a load of furniture picked and delivered by IKEA Homebush. Sydney made by a well known manufacturer. Delivery from WA or SA might be a bit more expensive though. SA stores have an online purchasing system. He had a 12 week wait. Yes that part of the deal is a bit weird considering I did the shopping list online via their website, then printed it out and then drove it to Sydney just for them to enter it back into their system! IKEAness you are buying, and what the transport cost works out as a fraction of that. Sydney on the weekend, back on Sunday and have a ute. My ute is a twin cab, so the tray is smaller than average.

There might be room to negotiate fees because some companies aoffer more included Ks per day than others. You had to attend the shop in Sydney, yet they picked the stuff out? Why not book online today to reserve your space and a great rate? All Adelaide Airport official car parking is close to the terminal and not difficult to access.
